Christina Morfaki holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus. She holds a master’s degree in Executive Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from Panteion University. She has extensive experience in team management and strategic development for business growth. For more than twenty years, she worked as an executive and business consultant in a banking institution, leading and coordinating teams and a wide range of operations, implementing new systems, and overseeing their adoption within growth-oriented practices. Currently, she holds the position of Head of the Human Resources Unit at a research institution, where she focuses on designing and implementing policies to manage and enhance human resource management and development systems, while promoting an organizational culture that fosters commitment, continuous learning, and growth. In the academic field, she teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas such as Leadership, Human Resource Management, Quality Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Sustainability, Financial Engineering and Organizational Behavior. Her research activities include publications in international scientific journals, contributions to chapters in collective volumes, and participation in scientific conferences in areas such as leadership, skills development, organizational psychology, personality, and education. She has been involved in numerous research projects focused on organizational behavior, the development of technological solutions and innovative services, and human resources training. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals in the fields of business management and skills development in higher education, with an emphasis on the application of knowledge in the workplace.
